Hi, I’m Gabi

I’m a level designer and game development student at BUAS who believes that great level design is really just practical storytelling. I love crafting spaces where mechanics feel natural and the environment itself tells you about the world—whether that’s through the flow of a level, a carefully placed narrative beat, or the way a room is shaped. My goal is always to create something memorable, something that sticks with players long after they’ve put down the controller.

What more?

Beyond designing levels, I’m the kind of person who needs to try everything at least once before forming an opinion.
I play D&D (just finished a campaign I’m still thinking about), bounce between game genres constantly, draw when inspiration strikes, write stories about characters I can’t let go of, and occasionally throw together cosplays for fun. I also have my headphones on about 99% of the time—music and games are kind of my constant companions.
All of this curiosity feeds back into my design work. I genuinely think I could design a level for almost any genre if you give me enough time to dig in and figure out what makes it tick.
